Ah yes, my dog too! I remember the day when we brought him home, and we were all expecting him to curl up in a corner, but instead, he laid in the middle of our rug! He was this little tiny ball of red fur just lying on our rug! I love dogs!!
Series last as long as the author wants to keep going. After Dear Pen Pal comes PIES & PREJUDICE, then HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, and next up will be WISH YOU WERE EYRE.
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad!!!!!! but i was wondering what if another author wanted to continue the books or like make a book about thier kids in another book club or something. would you agree to that???
Hilda, a lot of series don’t go one forever—but I know a series that does(or so it seems.) I think that there a about 30 or so books in the series…called the “Elise Dinsmore Series” there is an abridged series too with 8 books. But if you want a series that goes on forever try them. They are by Martha Finely
Y are you ending the series???? Cuz u said that a series could pretty much last forever if the author wanted them to and everyone luvs ur books sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much I know I do so y end when there could be millions more to come?
Oh gosh, I terrified that where I live its already spring ): I love the winter and we usually have like, at least two feet of snow… New England’s seasons are unpredictable… At least we got SOME snow
Can’t wait to see a sneak peek!!! I’m beside myself with excitement waiting for September!!! Aren’t Darcy and Stewart going to college? And what year are the book club girls in? I keep forgetting!!
Your dog is soooo cute Heather! Wait you are Wish You Were Eyre the last MDBC? Aww! I’m gonna miss the suspense of waiting after this one comes out! Just to ask you, I’m writing a book right now and I’m hoping to get it published… who do I go to?

That is so cute! Does Bonnie ever use it as well?
No — Bonnie prefers the luxury of the sofa.

Taking some time let your brain relax as you head for the home stretch of Wish You were Eyre (she says hopefully)?
Yes, Anna! Putting the final touches on the last two chapters here…
Good luck! Hope you pull through soon.
so is it really going to be the last book????
Yes, it is.
The last MDBC, that is — there will ALWAYS be more books, though!
How long do series last? Is there a limit?
The last book I have of the MDBC is the Pen Pal one. What comes after that?
Series last as long as the author wants to keep going. After Dear Pen Pal comes PIES & PREJUDICE, then HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, and next up will be WISH YOU WERE EYRE.
Why?????????????????
You have so many fans!!!
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad!!!!!! but i was wondering what if another author wanted to continue the books or like make a book about thier kids in another book club or something. would you agree to that???
Mmm, no, probably not. These are my babies, after all!
Are you thinking of doing another series similar to MDBC?
I’m mulling over a lot of ideas right now, but nothing’s settled yet.

No limit? Awesome!!
Thanks for the list, I’ll ask when I can get the rest of the books.
Y are you ending the series???? Cuz u said that a series could pretty much last forever if the author wanted them to and everyone luvs ur books sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much I know I do so y end when there could be millions more to come?

Hey, all you blog readers…don’t forget that ground hog day is a little more than 3 DAYS AWAY!!!! Just a head’s up! Spring could be arriving soon!
Where I live it already feels like Spring is here!!!!
Oh gosh, I terrified that where I live its already spring ): I love the winter and we usually have like, at least two feet of snow… New England’s seasons are unpredictable… At least we got SOME snow
Me too! It’s only snowed once and it was only 1/2 inch.It didn’t last long but we got out of school.
Me too! But it sounds like it won’t feel this nice for very long. There’s a chance of snow for us on Saturday…
nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Well at least Puxatony Phil says 6 more weeks of winter.
Your dog is cute Heather! I hope that those last chapters arent too sad though considering it is the last book from the mdbc series.
A few tears, maybe, Tiara – but my books have happy endings!
Yay!!! I love happy endings!
Happy endings!
In the first picture do I see Home for the Holidays?
Yes you do!
Can’t wait to see a sneak peek!!! I’m beside myself with excitement waiting for September!!! Aren’t Darcy and Stewart going to college? And what year are the book club girls in? I keep forgetting!!
WISH YOU WERE EYRE will pick up where HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS left off, so it will finish off the girls’ sophomore year.
Love MDBC Heather!! One of my fav authors!!! Cannot wait for Wish you Were Eyre!!!
Yay!
I can’t wait for Wish You Were Eyre! I’m reading Jane Eyre right now, actually! Also, I am a HUGE DOG LOVER!
Hope you’re enjoying JANE EYRE — I love it, and the movie versions too.
ha ha! I think he loves his new favourite spot!
Is it hard finding ways to make wish you were eyre similar to Jane Eyre?
Oh, there are lots of little threads I can pick up and weave into my story. It’s a fun challenge…
Your dog is soooo cute Heather! Wait you are Wish You Were Eyre the last MDBC? Aww! I’m gonna miss the suspense of waiting after this one comes out! Just to ask you, I’m writing a book right now and I’m hoping to get it published… who do I go to?
Go to the library and check out a book called the Writer’s Market — it has all the info you need on how to get published, OK?
Thanks for the info! I’ll check that out as soon as I pay the $10 fine on my card… oops!
Uh oh — been there, done that. My sympathies…
Aww, even more adorable!
That’s what my cat does! At least when she wants to attack someone’s feet….
