Thought you’d enjoy seeing this. It’s from my friend McKenna and I think it’s really clever — it was for a book report at school. Here’s another view:

The actual book report starts on the inside jacket flaps and continues on the back cover. Love it! (And if you look REALLY closely, you can see that she got an “O” for OUTSTANDING — fabulous job, McKenna!)

Wow! That’s so cute and clever . . . my friend did a report on The Mother-Daughter Book Club a while back, and it had a hand-drawn version of the cover of the books (precarious stack of novels) on the front! <3 that cover, McKenna! A+!

Somewhere around 300 pages. Always hard to tell, as manuscript pages are different than actual book pages, you know?

I did not, Jessica, but LOVE the sound of it. Anything “upon” someplace sounds so cool, doesn’t it? The village we lived in was “Newtown-upon-Linford.”

Dera Heather, I have a question for you… Who’s on the cover of each book? I know that Much Ado About Anne is Cassidy and Dear Pen Pal is Megan, but who is on the other covers? I’ve always wondered!
First one is Jess, Pies & Prejudice is Emma, and Home for the Holidays is Becca. Not sure yet who will be on the cover of the sixth one…
But doesn’t emma have curly brown hair?

I know! I know! Alas, the folks who put the cover together forgot when they arranged the cover shoot. So I just tell myself that Emma “glammed up” for her photo shoot by straightening her hair.
