April 10th, 2013

Giveaway?  Did someone say giveaway?  Oh yeah, baby … it’s time to celebrate!

:: tosses confetti ::

The SPY MICE are back with a whole new look, and here to help me celebrate with a mini blog hop (of COURSE it’s a mini blog hop–these are mice we’re talking about) are my friends Debbie at The Styling Librarian and Courtney at Stiletto Storytime!  We’ll be giving away three sets of THE BLACK PAW, FOR YOUR PAWS ONLY, and GOLDWHISKERS to three lucky readers!

Click here to head over to The Styling Librarian’s interview with me, and click here to read my Q&A with Stiletto Storytime.

All you have to do to enter is tell us:  Who’s your favorite fictional spy?

Leave a comment below answering that question, or  use the snazzy Google entry form at The Styling Librarian or Stiletto Storytime.  Share on your blog or Facebook or Twitter (using hashtag #spymice) for additional entries. Deadline is Wednesday, April 17th extended to Sunday, April 21st at midnight.  U.S. and Canada only, please.  (If you tweet or blog or share on Facebook about this giveaway, please leave a link in the comments so I can assign you an extra entry.)

I think Cammie Morgan from the Gallagher Girls series is one of the best 🙂

  3. My favorite fictional spy is Gabriel Allon from Daniel Silva’s novels.

  4. Eric Crowder says:

Darkwing Duck, though I’m not sure if he was spy, superhero or detective noir, either way he was awesome.

  5. Emily W. says:

Sherlock Holmes, probably. I don’t know for sure if he was a spy, but he was some sort of detective person. . .

  6. Emily W. says:

My favorite spy is probably Nancy Drew…. Does that count? I always loved to read the books and couldn’t wait to figure out who did it 🙂

  8. Adrianna says:

Severus Snape from Harry Potter. Apologies for the spoiler if you haven’t read it.

  9. Aafia says:

My favorite fictional spy would have to be Isabel from the book Chains, who’s a slave that passes on information to the Patriots.

  10. April says:

Katarina bishop and crew from The heist society!!! Well, they’re thieves and spies and sort of a bit of everything, so I guess that could count?

  11. Rilla says:

The Mary-kate and Ashley books had them as detectives/spies and I remember I would always borrow the books from the school library… 🙂

  12. Mackenzie says:

My favourite is the one the only James Bond!! Or Nancy Drew! (If that counts)

  13. Kaitie says:

My favorite spy would probably be Frank Hardy from the Hardy Boys series. Does he count? He’s a detective/spy… right??

  14. Kami says:

I’m going to have to go with Nancy Drew. She’s not really known as a spy, but she definitely does some spy worthy stuff. If that doesn’t count I would pick James Bond.

  15. LessThanThree MDBC says:

My favorite fictional spies are Mary-Kate and Ashley.

  16. Kimmie M. says:

Nancy Drew all the way! I like the classic books the best…

  17. Heidi Grange says:

My favorite would probably be Enola Holmes, although she’s more of a detective than a spy.

  18. Melissa says:

I really like Nancy Drew or 007!

my favorite spy is either nancy drew or cammie morgan fron gallagher girls books

Cammie Morgan from Gallagher girls by Ally Carter. Such a good series

  27. Maddie says:

Definitely Severus Snape. I love te harry potter series. 🙂

  28. June says:

It would have to be the classy, smart, and everyone’s favourite spy/detective, Nancy drew.

  29. malessandro says:

    I liked, detective Sherlock Holmes

  30. Anna says:

My favorite fictional spy is Zeke Kelso from the 1965 movie, That Darn Cat! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, that movie!!! Book is great, too!!!

  31. Natalie says:

My favorite fictional spy is Daisy from The Candymakers!

  32. Kate says:

I would have to say Kate Weatherall from ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society.’ She is really quick and agile, and brave. She is not afraid of anything, and she is super loyal. Also, she is funny. And even though this might sound weird – i like how Kate is not all perfect.

  33. Mackenzie says:

    I love The Candymakers too!!

  34. Samantha says:

Tottaly Nancy Drew but I’m not sure if that counts. She sortof was a spy, in some bokks when she snooped around for information for her father:)

  35. Juliette Zavala says:

My favorite spy is probably Wisty from James Patterson’s Witch and Wizard series. 🙂 Well, I like Whit too but Wisty is a girl so I pick her lol.

  36. Talia says:

Most of these I remembered from other people, but I am adding some of my own
    Daisy (Candymakers)
    Kate Weatherall (Mysterious Benedict Society)
Harriet the Spy (Book of same name)
Viola (Sort of a spy, especially good on disguises, Twelfth Night)
    Sherlock Holmes
Fred and George (Harry POtter, would do well with viola-disguises+snooping…)

I could think of more, but I already broke the rules.

And just in case I was only allowed to pick one, my absolute favorite is Harriet The Spy

  37. Kaitie says:

I have not read ANY of those books! :/ I have some reading to do apparently! (Not that I mind!) I’m going to the library today (YAY!) so i’ll look for all of those.

  38. Kaitie says:

Just got the Candymakers at the library! So far I LOVE it!

  39. Tessa says:

My Favorite spy is Scooby Doo and the Crew( velma, fred, shaggy and daphney)

  40. Cassidy says:

Definetly Severus Anapestic from Harry Potter. He should have gotten Lily. James was an arrogant toe rag.

  41. Cassidy says:

    Severus SNAPE. Dumb spell check.

  42. Abby says:

ooo… so many to choose from! I would have to go with Daisy (Dinkleman… :)) and Kate Weatherall (like so many on here), but Constance Contraire would be on my list. One of my all time favorites would have to be Silena Beauregard from PJO, though!!
