Kiss the reviewer!

Oh wow — I just discovered a glowing review of ONCE UPON A TOAD on the fabulous KISS THE BOOK blog (a wonderful resource for teachers and librarians)!

Cindy, the reviewer, deemed it “Essential” reading, which is high praise indeed. Β Thank you, Cindy!

  1. That’s awesome Heather! I just finished my first ever (finally)novel, and it’s a great feeling to write and finish your own book….but I guess I don’t have to tell you that! :))

  2. This is going to sound bad but I just now finished this book a couple days ago! But I totally agree with Cindy!!! This is now one of my favorite books!!! Great job Mrs. Frederick!!!!

  3. Wow!!! That is awesome! I really liked it too. It was a nailbiter!!!! I was freaking out while I was reading it! πŸ™‚

  4. I agree with Cindy! Well, I can’t quite agree yet because I’m about to read it on the plane when I go to Florida this weekend. I’m so excited to read it!!!!!

  5. Definitly essential! I loved it and read almost the whole thing in a day! I could NOT put it down! Same thing with the Mother-Daughter Book Club. I’ve re-read them over and over again! I cannot wait for Wish You Were Eyre! But why aren’t you having them finish up high school? I just can’t get enough of them! πŸ™‚

    • Well, this just seems the right place to end the series for many reasons, Anna. The good thing is, with characters that we grow to love (and believe me, I love these characters as much as you do), they live on in our hearts and imagination. I love thinking about, for instance, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, and their wedding, and life at Pemberley, and kids, etc. etc…

      • By the way, I was wondering, will we ever find out what goes on in the rest of their lives? Like in an epilouge (I hope thats spelled right!)? Did Darcy and Stewart go off to college?
