  1. This series is so fantastic. I read it with my nine-year old daughter. It’s fantastic to have her ask me “Can we read more mother-daughter book club” instead of watching TV or playing video games.
She even does the “awwww” when the chapter’s done and asks, “Can we read another page, please?”
Well done, Mrs. Frederick. Well done.

  2. Yaaaaay! Love it!! I already have a copy of the book, but one signed by THE Heather Vogel Frederick is totally worth it!!!!!

  3. YES! I love the series and hope I can win it! This one is perfect for the season even though it was 70 degrees today. 🙁

  4. I already have the whole series. Oh well! My copy of WYWE just came in the mail along with another book. they are both late birthday presents-very late since my birthday was in October. The other book that came is “Spilled ink A young Writers Handbook” by Anne Mazer and Ellen Potter. I never would have gotten this book if it wasnt for you, Heather. You suggested it to me in a reply to one of my comments on your blog. I think it is an amazing book and I thank you so much for suggesting it, and also for creating magical books that light up my days.

    • Oh, SO glad you’re enjoying that book – I think it’s a great resource, and an excellent book to have on your “writer’s” shelf.

  5. I have a copy of the whole series but it would be cool to get a giveaway copy. Thanks for the Heads up Heather!

    • Yes, of course. If you go to the “contact” page on my website, there’s an address there where you can send your books to me to autograph. BE SURE AND INCLUDE SELF-ADDRESSED RETURN ENVELOPES, WITH RETURN POSTAGE ON THEM — otherwise it gets r-e-a-l-l-y expensive for me to have to pay to send them back to you, OK? 🙂

      • that is so awesome! i am so going to do that! Because i already have all the books, but i still commented on the giveaway site anyway (:

  6. YOU know Courtney Webb??/ I have been following Stiletto Storytime for a long time now.. I actually entered the draw wayy before I saw this blog post!!! I thought it was so cool 🙂

  7. I love the series, but want an autographed book. That would awesome to have! So we can just send you the books and you will autograph them and send them back!!! That is awesome. I love these books so much that whenever we had book projects in language arts I did Pies and Prejudice, and now we have another so I am doing it on Home for the Holidays. I adore Jess and Darcy!! They do some spooning at the end too. Ooo La La. Still wondering about that wedding in Wish You Were Eyre.. Do not have that book but want it a lot. Thanks,
    From Got 2 Love Jess.

    • Yes! If you want an autograph, just send me your book ALONG WITH A SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED return envelope. I’ll sign it and pop it back in the mail to you. Easy peasy. 🙂

  8. I thought I knew who would be getting married on WYWE but then I read it and I was wrong. Oh well! And by the way have you read Les Miserables? We just read the abridged version in school and I have to declaim part of it for declamation on Wednesday. I have been freezing in school lately! This comment is very random 🙂 oh well!

  9. Home for th holidays is a really great book. Your pther books are also amazing. I just wish I could write as well as you do.

  10. Thank you for being an amazing author!! You have inspired me to create an online book club. Soon, I am going to feature your books on my site!! Please check it out and help me improve it. I would love to have you be an editor!! Thanks, Peyton

    • What fun, Peyton! Wish I had time to be an editor, but I just don’t, I’m afraid. Too many deadlines of my own. I’m sure it will be a big success, though! 🙂

  11. Thanks so much for sending me those two bookmarks and signed copy. I’m so glad I won.You may not remember me but 2 years ago you skyped with me. Thanks again for doing that with my personal mother-daughter book club. I love your writing and hope that someday I can get one of my books published.:)

    • You’re so welcome, Fiona! As for getting published, just remember, I started out just like you. Patience and persistence will carry you through, just like they did for me!
