Just-for-fun Monday

What’s not to love about Shetland ponies sporting cardigans?

This is part of a “Visit Scotland” ad campaign from Scotland’s Tourism Organization — and I’d call it a smashing success! Sure makes me want to go there–and makes me want to pick up my knitting needles again, too.  Click here to head over to their website and see more cute ponies in sweaters.

That’s all!  Over and out — just a wee smile for a Monday morning.

  1. AWW THAT IS ADORABLE! I wonder how they managed to get those on the ponies? 😀

Anyway, weren’t you gonna announce the winner of the contest today?

  2. So cute, I had to show all my friends! They love it 🙂
The cardigans were all hand made too. I wish I could knit sweaters like that!

  3. As soon as I saw that picture I squealed. THEY ARE SO CUTE! PS- Sorry I haven’t commented in a while- my teachers are piling me with homework, plus I play guitar and piano, and I figure skate. Oh, and catching up in the Betsy-Tacy series. 😀 Life is busy!

  4. Is there going to be a 7th book coming out this year or do I need to go hide under my bed and cry? These girls have caused me so much happiness (Cassidy making the hockey team, everyone standing up to Becca, ect.) and caused me so much sadness. (Mrs. Bergson dieing. I cried so hard..) The MDBC has really changed my life. (for the better!!) Jess taught me to do what you love and do it with all of your heart and soul, Emma taught me that you can be a bookworm and it can be cool, Megan taught me to keep my castles in the sky even if people think you’re nuts, Becca taught me that things can change, and last but certainly not least, Cassidy taught me that you really don’t need to be perfect and that it’s okay to make mistakes. They are my friends. They are more than just a book. When I read one of your books I come alive. I am right there getting in trouble on Cooking with Clementine, I am right there in Paris, I am right there. These girls have been my friends when friends are scarce..(i’m homeschooled) It turns out, I have a little bit of everyone in me. I have Jess’s love for wildlife, science, math, and music. I have Emma’s love for books and I also have glasses. I have Megan’s name and love of shopping. I have Becca’s blonde hair (or Jess’s..) and I have Cassidy’s love of some sports (well not really Cassidy love.. maybe like a lower level..) I like field hockey (No ice down in the South 🙁 ) and soccer.. I just wanted to let you know how much I love your girls. I hope you read this even if you don’t reply. (sorry.. i like to talk a lot..)

    A Faithful Fan,

    • Ah, Megan, I’m afraid you’re going to have to go hide under your bed and cry. 🙁 WISH YOU WERE EYRE is the last book in the series. I know, I love them as much you do, and I miss them terribly! BUT I’m also having boatloads of fun creating a whole new fictional world, one I hope you’ll come to love as much as you do the book club world. Your enthusiasm just made my day, by the way. I’m so glad that my books have had such a positive impact on you! 😀

  5. That is soooo funny!! I love going through your posts to see whats new and i think this one just made my day:) Thank you!
