Giveaway?  Did someone say giveaway?  Oh yeah, baby … it’s time to celebrate!

:: tosses confetti ::

The SPY MICE are back with a whole new look, and here to help me celebrate with a mini blog hop (of COURSE it’s a mini blog hop–these are mice we’re talking about) are my friends Debbie at The Styling Librarian and Courtney at Stiletto Storytime!  We’ll be giving away three sets of THE BLACK PAW, FOR YOUR PAWS ONLY, and GOLDWHISKERS to three lucky readers!

Click here to head over to The Styling Librarian’s interview with me, and click here to read my Q&A with Stiletto Storytime.

All you have to do to enter is tell us:  Who’s your favorite fictional spy?

Leave a comment below answering that question, or  use the snazzy Google entry form at The Styling Librarian or Stiletto Storytime.  Share on your blog or Facebook or Twitter (using hashtag #spymice) for additional entries. Deadline is Wednesday, April 17th extended to Sunday, April 21st at midnight.  U.S. and Canada only, please.  (If you tweet or blog or share on Facebook about this giveaway, please leave a link in the comments so I can assign you an extra entry.)

  1. Sherlock Holmes, probably. I don’t know for sure if he was a spy, but he was some sort of detective person. . .

  2. BTW, if anyone wants to visit my blog, go to emilytateblog.weebly.com.
I will have a post really soon about this contest!

  3. My favorite spy is probably Nancy Drew…. Does that count? I always loved to read the books and couldn’t wait to figure out who did it 🙂

  4. My favorite fictional spy would have to be Isabel from the book Chains, who’s a slave that passes on information to the Patriots.

  5. Katarina bishop and crew from The heist society!!! Well, they’re thieves and spies and sort of a bit of everything, so I guess that could count?

  6. The Mary-kate and Ashley books had them as detectives/spies and I remember I would always borrow the books from the school library… 🙂

  7. My favorite spy would probably be Frank Hardy from the Hardy Boys series. Does he count? He’s a detective/spy… right??

  8. I’m going to have to go with Nancy Drew. She’s not really known as a spy, but she definitely does some spy worthy stuff. If that doesn’t count I would pick James Bond.

  9. My favorite fictional spy is Zeke Kelso from the 1965 movie, That Darn Cat! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, that movie!!! Book is great, too!!!

  10. I would have to say Kate Weatherall from ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society.’ She is really quick and agile, and brave. She is not afraid of anything, and she is super loyal. Also, she is funny. And even though this might sound weird – i like how Kate is not all perfect.

  11. Tottaly Nancy Drew but I’m not sure if that counts. She sortof was a spy, in some bokks when she snooped around for information for her father:)

  12. My favorite spy is probably Wisty from James Patterson’s Witch and Wizard series. 🙂 Well, I like Whit too but Wisty is a girl so I pick her lol.

  13. Most of these I remembered from other people, but I am adding some of my own
    Daisy (Candymakers)
    Kate Weatherall (Mysterious Benedict Society)
Harriet the Spy (Book of same name)
Viola (Sort of a spy, especially good on disguises, Twelfth Night)
    Sherlock Holmes
Fred and George (Harry POtter, would do well with viola-disguises+snooping…)

I could think of more, but I already broke the rules.

And just in case I was only allowed to pick one, my absolute favorite is Harriet The Spy

  14. I have not read ANY of those books! :/ I have some reading to do apparently! (Not that I mind!) I’m going to the library today (YAY!) so i’ll look for all of those.

  15. Definetly Severus Anapestic from Harry Potter. He should have gotten Lily. James was an arrogant toe rag.

  16. ooo… so many to choose from! I would have to go with Daisy (Dinkleman… :)) and Kate Weatherall (like so many on here), but Constance Contraire would be on my list. One of my all time favorites would have to be Silena Beauregard from PJO, though!!
