Are you out there?

mailbox cartoon
I’ve been working on answering snail mail and email recently, and there are a number of you who changed email addresses or gave me incorrect addresses, or didn’t include addresses at all.

This always makes me sad, because I know you’re eagerly awaiting a response, and there’s no way I can send you one.

So, if you see your name here on this list, please leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with you for your correct address, OK?

Abby (last name Burns, maybe?)
Ann (annnamey)
Daysa Lewis
Molly (philliesmm)
Laura Winkler
Margaret Harper
Chiara (last name Morley, maybe?)
Denise Espinosa
Sarah Robert

Whew!  Long list this time.  Moral of the story:  check and double-check that you’ve included a return address on your snail mail, and that the email addresses you provide when you contact me are 100% accurate!

  1. Oh, speaking of which, Mrs.Frederick, I got your letter! Thanks so much! You’ll be getting one back from me soon, my mother mailed it today 🙂

  2. I hope you find the people!! Also, I hope they know that you are trying to find them, most people I know would probably just be “oh well, their fault-letter, meet trash can, trash can, meet letter”

  3. I hope you find out all of their addresses! I would hate to know someone’s waiting for my letter and you can’t send them one!

  4. Dear Heather,
My sister and I have Goodspeed as our maiden names. We have been trying to gather Patience Goodspeed books for our grand-nieces who share that last name. She has found two: “The Education of Patience Goodspeed” and “The Voyage of Patience Goodspeed.”

We understand that there is a third in the series, but have not been able to locate it, much less buy it! Could you tell us where we might find it? (And any others we might not know about.)

    Thank you for your help.
    Sincerely yours,
    Marilyn Goodspeed Probert

    • Hi Marilyn — Sorry for the delay in replying. I am SO happy to hear that you discovered the Patience Goodspeed books! There was to be a third in the series, and I’m still hoping to write it someday, but ultimately it’s up to my publisher, and for now I’m busy with other projects. Thanks for sharing them with your grand-nieces! 🙂

  5. Dear Heather,
Hi my name is Caetlin and I love your books in the Mother Daughter Book Club series. I have not read your others yet but I soon will. You are an amazing author and my role model in life. I want to be an author when I grow up, just like Emma Hawthorn and yourself. Cassidy Sloane is just like me because we both love hockey and other sports. I always looked forward to reading what happens next in the crazy life of Emma, Megan, Jess, Cassidy, and Becca along with their mothers. You are amazing and I can’t say that enough. I love your books and the way you write.
I am writing a book about demigods and I need tips on how to make it suspenseful. Can you help me?
    Your biggest fan,
    -Caetlin Johnson

    • Hi Caetlin! I’m so glad you love my books! And how fabulous that you want to be an author. Your story sounds great – and as for how to make it suspenseful, try and end each chapter on a cliffhanger… that way, readers will want to turn the page and find out what happens next. Have fun! 🙂

      • Hi Heather,
It’s caetlin again. Thank you so much for the useful tips on my story and i am sure to use it wisely. I can’t thank you enough. Have an awesome summer!!!! 🙂
