Come hear Susan Fletcher speak!

Calling all PDX writers – fabulous opportunity to hear the incomparable Susan Fletcher (whom I’ve interviewed here before) talk about her research and writing process tonight. She’ll be speaking at the Hillsboro Main Library … I’m looking forward to it!

  1. HEATHER VOGEL FREDERICK! I AM SOOOOOOO MAD AT YOU! I JUST READ APSOULUTY TRULY AND YOU ARE SUCH A MENNIE! TWICE IN THE BOOK YOU CALLED CIVIL WAR REENACTORS NERDY AND SOMTHING SOMEON HAS TO BE DRAGGED TO! OTHERS MIGHT OVER LOOK IT BUT AS A REENACTOR MYSELF I DEMAND A PUBLIC APOLIGE! NOW!

    • Oh my goodness, Virginia — I’m sorry that the book made you mad. The thing you have to remember, though, in reading a book is that what some of the characters think isn’t always what the author thinks. This author happens to think reenactors (Civil War, historical museum, etc.) are totally cool! 😉

  2. I think the book is amazing, and you did a wonderful job with it! I can’t wait for the next MDBC!

  3. thanks for reminding me its just I don’t want OTHER people to get the wrong message and stop coming. In the book I’m writing one of the girls wants to be a psychologist but not me UHUNN-NNNNNN I’m writer all the way!
