Audio version of MUCH ADO ABOUT ANNE giveaway

Woo hoo!  MUCH ADO ABOUT ANNE is now available in audio! And as was the case with THE MOTHER-DAUGHTER BOOK CLUB, the first book in the series, it’s FABULOUS, as Wolfgang would say!

Produced by Ideal Audiobooks, this recording’s stellar cast includes Amy Rubinate, Cris Dukehart, Kate Rudd, and Emily Woo Zeller. I’m truly honored to have these four AMAZING voice actors playing the parts of Emma, Jess, Cassidy, and Megan (soon to be five, with the addition of Shannon McManus as Becca)! When you listen, I hope you’ll agree that they’ve beautifully captured the girls’ individual characters, which spring to life in a new way in their excellent hands … er, voices.

Let’s celebrate with a giveaway, shall we?

One of you will receive a free download of the new audio version of MUCH ADO ABOUT ANNE. All you have to do is comment below, telling us which character you’d like to play, if you were an audio narrator.

The winner will be chosen at random at midnight on October 6, 2015. Share this giveaway on your blog or Facebook or Twitter or other social media for additional entries. (If you share on social media, please leave a link in the comments below so I can assign you an extra entry.)

  1. I really like all the characters but I think I would like to play Megan because she is such an interesting character and has such interesting relationships with people (Cassidy, Emma, and Jess; Becca, Jen, and Ashley; her mom and Gigi).

  2. I love and relate the most with Emma, but think Cassidy would be the most fun part for me to play. So excited that these special stories have come to audio!

  3. I would loveeee to be the voice of Becca because she has a lot of attitutde but we also get to see a softer side of her at some points

  4. I would love to do Emma’s voice. I’d really get into that since she’s my favorite and I’m a lot like her.

  5. I would love to voice Cassidy because I would love to say her oneliners and jokes. I love Cassidy and her humor and it would be fun to voice her and her sarcasm!

  6. Hmm.. probably Jess. I’ve always loved her story. In every book, she seems to have some sort of problem- she’d be very fun to voice!

  7. I would love to play any of the girls, but I think my number one choice would be Cassidy. She would be a lot of fun because of her spunky personality!

  8. Yay! Another giveaway! Thank you, Ms. Frederick!

Even though I relate most to Emma, I’d honestly like to play Cassidy, because I love her sass and attitude, and she’s really funny, too.

Really, though, I’d be happy playing any of them.

  9. Well, this has made my day even better! The cherry on top of my sundae of a day! And it’s not over yet! Tomorrow is Friday! The beginning to a long awaited weekend!
I can’t decide! All of the girls have characteristics that I can relate to, and some that I can find interesting. I’m most like Emma, but Cassidy would be fun to play, because her perspective is the complete opposite of mine, and maybe because she goes through SO much change in the books!
Heather, I love your blog, and it’s always the highlight of my day! I was wondering if maybe you could think about doing a book reccommendation blog post? I always want to know what books authors would recommend, because they are writers themselves and perhaps are more critical toward what they read!

  10. I absolutely LOVE all of the characters, but I would have say that I would want to play Becca. My favorite character is Cassidy, but I absolutely LOVE Becca’s attitude and I would have a REALLY fun time playing her character!!! Everyone has a nice, sweet, soft side, though everyone also has a hard, rough, firm side to them and Becca was the one who really stood out to me as having both sides just as strong as the other. She can be a really mean, rude, and disrespectful girl, though her other side is very sweet, considerate, outgoing, and nice. It’s just that the circumstances have to be just right. I also love how boy-obsessed she is! It’s just what her character needs and she wouldn’t be “Becca” without that aspect of her personality!!! I cannot wait for May 2nd!!!
Thank you so much for doing this giveaway!!!!!!
    From, Mia

    • Heather,
Thanks so much for doing this giveaway!!!! When will you be announcing the winner???
      Thanks again,

  11. It would definitely be interesting to play Cassidy I think, because she has some much fierce loyalty and competitiveness to her that I’m sure she would be a blast narrating!

  12. I would like to play Cassidy. I just love Cassidy. Though if I had to pick a second one to pick i would probably pick Emma.
Really hope I win! I love your books and audio books so combining them is like a dream come true. 🙂

  13. if I would have the chance to be a voice narrator it would be Emma because her and I have soooo much in common and it would be fun to actually here what the voices would so like!!

  14. I woul definately like to be Cassidy, because that would allow me to show off my snarky and sassy side. And maybe my class/relatives/friends would start to understand that im not just a sweet little teachers pet/goody two shoes beacuse i find that when i am portraying a role i tend to become the role.

  15. I would want to play Jess because she is a bit of kindred spirit and I can relate to her feelings and it always sounds better if the person reading knows how their character feels.

    • Heather, are you coming to Ohio any time soon ’cause you got two super fans who would LOVE that!!!!!!!!!!! Would you please update your events page. I want to know where you are going to be.

  16. If I was narrating one of your books, I would want to narrate Becca– and not only because we share the same name. I feel that I would capture the essence of Becca’s personality, and nail both her perky and sarcastic comments.

  17. I think I relate to Emma allot. But I admire Megan! I am similar to Emma, I just love ‘big bad Cassidy’ and her quick sassy remarks, and how she is so protective to her friends, Becca is alright, I wouldn’t mind acting her, and Jess is well… JESS!
My voice would be not what I would expect Becca, Megan, or Jess to sound like… so I’m am stuck with Emma and Cassidy… Ohhhh it’s hard!……….

I think I would choose Cassidy! “Who wouldn’t want to be ‘big bad’ snarky, sassy Cassidy Sloane?!

  18. I would DIE for a chance to be the voices on any of the girls– it’s nearly impossible to choose! Probably though, I would like most to be the voice of Emma, because she is the character I most relate to, because I love to read and write and figure skate, and I think it would be a lot of fun (since I adore acting/voice acting) to help her come even more to life and get to know her better through her tone of voice!!

  19. I’d love to play Jess! But if not her, perhaps I’d play savannah Sinclair. She’s such a fascinating person!

  20. I think that I would be Jess because I relate the most to her. I absolutely adore animals and if my dad would let me, I’d have a whole farm of them. I also LOVE to sing. Maybe a little to much:)

  21. I would love to play Cassidy! I love her personality and her sarcasm. She would be a very fun character to play because I am a lot like her and I love her sense of humor!

  22. I’d love to play Cassidy in an audio book! Every time I read the mother-daughter book club series, I always look forward to her chapters! I always see her as having this sort of deep voice. It would be incredibly fun to talk to Jess,, Megan, Emma, and sometimes Becca about the next prank they were going to pull.

  23. It’s so hard for me to pick since I love all of them, but I would have to choose Cassidy because she’s my absolute favorite.

  24. I would love to play the role of Jess, because I can relate to her in so many ways…and she has a personality quite similar to mine!

  25. I would love to voice Jess (and be her because Darcy Hawthorne as my boyfriend…yes please!) because we both are more on the quiet side. She also loves music and so do I!

  26. I would either have to say Jess or Cassidy Jess because I can totally relate to her life and Cassidy’s too expesially with a new step dad but another really fun one would be Megan

  27. I would want to be Emma! It was cool how when I first started reading the books, I was like, exactly like her! I want to be a writer when I grow up, and I LOVE reading.

  28. I would would want to play the voice of Jess. My friends say I’m a lot like her and she’s just so much like me!

  29. I honestly don’t know which one I would be. Because all of them have a different personality. If I had to choose I’d choose Megan because 1.- I love Paris and 2.-She seems so fun and upbeat.

She also has so many relationships with everybody, good and bad.

  30. I would love to play Becca, which is weird because she’s not even my favorite character, but her chapters are full of her..pizazz! Sometimes, you just gotta love Becca. 😉

  31. I would be either character. Jess because i would love to act like i lived on a farm, and cassidy cause it would be cool to learn hockey and also have a stepdad and halfsister, emma because their’s something about her that sets the story togther, maybe megan because it would be cool to design clothes, finally even becca because it would be cool to play a snarky girl.

  32. I would definitely love to play Megan! She lives my dream life, going to Paris and becoming a famous designer! Her life is full of surprises, good and bad, but it makes her life that much more wild!

  33. If I were to narrate a character from The Mother-Daughter Book Club I would like to narrate Cassidy. Cassidy is stonga and has gone through a lot. It would also be a challenge because I’m not that similar to Cassidy.

  34. If I were an audio narrator I think I’d like to play any of them! Cassidy because she’s my favorite and her life is so interesting. Megan because she has so many things in her life like sewing and fashion. Emma because she’s so relatable. But, I guess I wouldn’t want to play Jess. I don’t really love her… But all the others I’d totally play!:D

sorry its late i put it on goodreads D:
